I-9 Form Set To Expire. As an employer, all new hires are required to complete and sign I-9 Form provided by the USCIS. Expiration of the current form is effective August 31, 2019. The USCIS has not released an updated form yet to replace the expiring document. According an update posted as of 8/27/2019 on the USCIS website, they are advising businesses to continue to use the expired I-9 form until a new one is released. Employers can obtain this form and continue to check back for updates by visiting the USCIS website at: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9.
