Dr. Pepper

This is Dr. Pepper company logo in black and white with a black background used on many branded materials.

Founded in 1885 in Waco, Texas, by pharmacist Charles Alderton, Dr Pepper was inspired by the rich, mixed aromas of fruit syrups at the local soda fountain in Morrison’s Old Corner Drug Store—he refined his blend into a unique beverage unlike any other. The name Dr Pepper was chosen by the store owner, Wade Morrison, though its exact origin remains wrapped in local lore.

Dr Pepper was introduced nationally at the 1904 World’s Fair, securing its place as the oldest major soft-drink brand in the U.S., even predating Coca-Cola. Celebrated for its distinctive taste, the soda reportedly blends 23 flavors, creating a fizzy, sweet, slightly cherry-and-spice profile that defies simple classification.

Today, Dr Pepper is enjoyed worldwide with a loyal following, recognized for its originality and Southern roots, and continues to stand out as a bold alternative in the soft drink industry.

Members qualify for national pricing and a rebate on their Dr. Pepper bib purchases. Rebates may vary depending on usage. Area restrictions may apply if buying through a direct distributor such as Pepsi or Coke Cola. If ordering through redistribution, additional setup may be required.
